1. Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury
A lone girl from the distant planet Mercury moves to the Beneritt Group-run Asticassia School of Technology, which controls the mobile suit sector. She is called Suletta Mercury. With a crimson flame burning in her pure heart, our girl traverses a new universe step by step.
2. Welcome to Demon School Iruma-kun Season 3
Welcome to Demon University! Iruma-kun (Japanese: 魔入りました! , Hepburn: May you be well! Iruma-kun is a Japanese manga series written by Osamu Nishi. Since March 2017, it has been serialised in Akita Shoten’s shnen manga magazine Weekly Shnen Champion. The series has been collected in twenty-nine tankbon volumes as of October 2022. A Bandai Namco Pictures adaptation of an anime television series ran from October 2019 to March 2020, with a second season airing from April to September 2021. The debut of the third season occurred in October 2022.
3. Blue Lock
Blue Lock is a series of Japanese comics written by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and illustrated by Yusuke Nomura. Since August 2018, it has been serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine. 4. Yowamushi Pedal: Limit Break
Wataru Watanabe is the author and illustrator of the manga series Yowamushi Pedal. The series began serialization in the 12th issue of Akita Shoten’s Weekly Shonen Champion in 2008, and as of December 2021, 75 tankbon volumes have been published. Yen Press has licenced the manga in North America since 2015. Several fresh mangas are still being released. The first season aired from October 2013 to July 2014, the second season from October 2014 to March 2015, the third season from January to June 2017, the fourth season from January to June 2018, and the fifth season will premiere in October 2022. Discotek Media licenseds the first three seasons in North America in 2014. In August 2016, a live-action television drama adaptation premiered. On August 14, 2020, a live-action film adaption was released.
5. Golden Kamuy Season 4
The manga series Golden Kamuy is written and illustrated by Satoru Noda. It was serialized from August 2014 to April 2022 in Shueisha’s seinen manga magazine Weekly Young Jump, with its chapters collected in thirty-one tankbon volumes. Saichi Sugimoto, a soldier of the early twentieth-century Russo-Japanese War, is assisted by a young Ainu girl named Asirpa in his quest to uncover a vast treasure of Ainu gold. Hiroshi Nakagawa, a linguist, specializing in the Ainu language at Chiba University, oversaw the Ainu language in the story. A two-season adaptation of an anime television series made by Geno Studio broadcast from April to December 2018. From October through December 2020, a third season will air. Brain’s Base is scheduled to premiere a fourth season in October 2022. A live-action version of the book has been announced. Since 2016, Viz Media has had a licence for an English-language edition of the manga. Crunchyroll and Funimation have licensed the anime. As of June 2022, approximately 22 million copies of Golden Kamuy were in circulation, making it one of the most popular manga series. The manga was awarded the ninth Manga Taish in 2016 as well as the twenty-second Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize in 2018.
6. Reincarnated as a Sword
Reincarnated as a Sword is a Japanese light novel series written by Yuu Tanaka and illustrated by Llo. It is also known as I Became the Sword by Transmigrating and Tenken. In October 2015, it began as an online book on the Shsetsuka ni Nar website. Micro Magazine later published it as a light novel, releasing the first volume in July 2016. The series has been adapted into a manga by Tomowo Maruyama, which was published by Gentosha, and a spin-off manga by Hinako Inoue, which Micro Magazine published. Seven Seas Entertainment licensed both the light novels and manga for publishing in North America and the spin-off. C2C’s adaptation of an anime television series premiered in October 2022.
7. The Eminence in Shadow
The Eminence in Shadow is a series of Japanese light novels by Daisuke Aizawa and Tzai. In May 2018, it began publication on the user-generated novel publishing website Shsetsuka ni Nar. Since November 2018, the series has been published by Enterbrain, who later bought the company. Since December 2018, a manga adaptation illustrated by Anri Sakano has been serialized in the seinen manga magazine Comp Ace by Kadokawa Shoten. Seta U has created a spin-off comic named Kage no Jitsuryuusha ni Naritakute! Since July 2019, Shadow Gaiden (“The Eminence in Shadow! Shadow Side Story”) has also been serialized on Comp Ace. It is included within three tankbon volumes. Yen Press has licensed the light novel and main manga for publication in North America. A Nexus-adapted anime television series premiered in October 2022.
8. Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War Arc!
Bleach is a Japanese anime television series based on the manga of the same name by Tite Kubo. It was directed by Noriyuki Abe and produced by Studio Pierrot. The 366-episode series aired on TV Tokyo from October 2004 to March 2012. The story chronicles Ichigo Kurosaki’s exploits after he gets the powers of a Soul Reaper from another Soul Reaper, Rukia Kuchiki. A Soul Reaper is a death personification comparable to the Grim Reaper. His newly acquired abilities compel him to defend mankind from evil spirits and guide departed souls to the afterlife. In addition to adapting the manga series on which it is based, the anime occasionally incorporates original, self-contained narratives and characters. In March 2006, Viz Media acquired the overseas broadcast and home video distribution rights to the anime Bleach. Bleach was broadcast on Adult Swim in the United States from September 2006 until November 2014. Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War, a sequel series covering the manga’s final plot arc, was released in October 2022. It was animated by Pierrot and directed by Tomohisa Taguchi.
9. Mob Psycho 100 (Season 3)
The manga series Mob Psycho 100 is written and illustrated by One. It was serialized on the Ura Sunday website of Shogakukan from April 2012 to December 2017. Since December 2014, it has also been available on Shogakukan’s mobile app MangaONE. Shogakukan’s chapters were compiled into sixteen tankbon volumes. The narrative focuses on a youngster with strong psychic abilities and his efforts to find ordinary happiness. Bones has adapted the novel into an anime television series. The first season aired between July and September of 2016, and the second between January and April of 2019. The debut of the third season occurred in October 2022. From January to April 2018, a live-action adaptation aired. In 2018, a spin-off manga series Reigen began serializing on the Shogakukan MangaONE app. In 2018, Dark Horse Comics was licensed to publish the manga in English in North America. Meanwhile, the anime series was licensed by Crunchyroll for streaming, with an English dub done by Bang Zoom! Entertainment in December 2016 and premiered on Adult Swim’s Toonami block in October 2018. As of July 2016, approximately 1.2 million copies of the manga were in circulation. Mob Psycho 100 received the 62nd Shogakukan Manga Award in the shonen category in 2017. The adaptation is regarded as one of the best anime series of the 2010s.
10. Tiger & Bunny 2 Part 2
Tiger & Bunny is a 2011 Japanese superhero anime television series created by Keiichi Sato and produced by Sunrise. Masafumi Nishida authored the screenplay, and Masakazu Katsura created the original character designs. The series debuted on Tokyo MX on April 3, 2011, followed by rebroadcasts on BS11 and MBS, and concluded on September 17, 2011. Viz Media aired the series simultaneously on Hulu and Anime News Network. It is set in a futuristic city where heroes fight crime while promoting corporate sponsors. It focuses on the veteran hero Kotetsu T. Kaburagi “Wild Tiger,” and the novice hero Barnaby Brooks Jr. “Bunny,” who are forced by their employers to work together. The series was primarily produced by producer Masayuki Ozaki, who desired to create a drama that would appeal to a variety of demographics by employing various types of superheroes and balancing the relationship between Kotetsu and Barnaby. The anime received positive reviews for its depiction of superheroes and production standards. The marketing of the anime was equally fruitful. A one-shot manga illustrated by Masakazu Katsura was released on August 4, 2011 in Shueisha’s Weekly Young Jump magazine. The creation of two films based on the series was announced during a special event in November 2011. Tiger & Bunny: The Beginning, the first film, was released on September 22, 2012. On February 8, 2014, the second film, Tiger & Bunny: The Rising, was released. On October 7, 2022, Bandai Namco Pictures published a second season of original web animation on Netflix.
11. Romantic Killer
Wataru Momose is the author and illustrator of the Japanese manga Romantic Killer. From July 2019 to June 2020, it was published on the Shonen Jump+ website of Shueisha, with its chapters compiled in four tankbon volumes. 12. Exception
The anime online series Exception is based on an original tale by Hirotaka Adachi, with character designs by Yoshitaka Amano and direction by Yz Sat. The premiere of the series on Netflix occurred on October 13, 2022.
13. Spy x Family Part 2
Fans from all around the world fell in love with the mismatched family of Lloyd, Yor, and Anya when Spy Family was initially launched and became an international phenomenon. Yor and Lloyd are the ideal foils for one another, and Anya’s uncontrolled energy makes every scene with her funny. This forthcoming series will go further into the lives of the main three characters. Yor and Lloyd will likely rely even more on their connection, whereas Anya will continue to conceal her psychic skills. Spy Family is unrivalled when it comes to humorous relationships combined with thrilling and tense action sequences.
14. Cyberpunk: Edgerunners
Cyberpunk: Edgerunners is a 2022 Polish–Japanese online anime series based on CD Projekt Red’s video game Cyberpunk 2077. The series launched on Netflix in September 2022 and was animated by Studio Trigger under the supervision of CD Projekt. Set in Mike Pondsmith’s Cyberpunk universe, the anime serves as a prequel to the game and takes place about one year before Cyberpunk 2077.
