Andor: What would it be able to be About?
The first on-screen mention of the prison world is Belsavis, a planet formerly a part of the Rakata Empire (which also had its first on-screen mention in Andor). The Rakata turned it into a penal colony, building massive underground prison complexes to contain dangerous individuals like Force users. The planet Belsavis was first mentioned for the first time in Barbara Hambly’s novel “Children of the Jedi,” which was published in 1995. At the time of the novel’s events, the planet had entered an ice age, and its surface was mostly covered in ice. Still, pockets of geothermal activity created pockets of jungle oasis where a colony of survivors from the Great Purge lived. In the novel, Belsavis is a fictional world. The planet made its first appearance in the video game Star Wars: The Old Republic (2011). During the Great Galactic War between the Old Republic and the Sith Empire, around 3,600 BBY, the Republic discovered the planet. They made use of the existing underground prison facilities, which still functioned after 20,000 years, to confine dangerous Sith Lords captured during the war. Additionally, they built new prison facilities on the surface oasis to contain warlords and other extreme extremists. The Republic maintained its use of Belsavis and its jail facilities throughout the ages; at one point, the notorious bounty hunter Jango Fett was even detained on the planet for a brief period of time. This episode demonstrates that the Empire was still using the planet as a jail colony after it was liberated.
What can the viewers expect from Andor Season 1?
Wow! It’s about time there was an adult-oriented Star Wars program with a solid script, solid acting, and compelling characters. Although my expectations for Rogue One were low going in, the film quickly became my favorite in the Star Wars saga. Just like you, I had mixed feelings about Andor. However, following my positive experience with Rogue One, I had great hopes for its sequel. Excellent work; you’ve got the proper tone, a gorgeous setting, and excellent performances. Such an approach is ideal for Star Wars. Aside from The Mandalorian, this is Disney’s best Star Wars show thus far. It’s a testament to what can be accomplished when you have a passion for the story’s world or universe, a lot of ability, and the creative freedom to make magic happen, and this LoTR RoP is light-years ahead of anything amateurs could come up with. To bring Tony Gilroy (Rogue One) on board was a smart move by Disney. If he weren’t there, I doubt Andor would be nearly as effective. Despite the fact that CGI and virtual sets are an upgrade over the green screen, it is interesting to note the significant impact that using actual sets instead may create.

Reviews
Andor lived up to my highest expectations in every respect. It is possible that this Star Wars series is the best so far, or at the very least, that it is tied for first place with The Mandalorian. Even though this character is perhaps the least well-known from all of the Star Wars series that have been released so far, that does not mean that it is any less interesting. Andor is a character who appears in Rogue One, which is widely considered to be among the best of the Star Wars films. Because Andor has received nothing but praise from critics, I went into the game with extremely high expectations, all of which have been satisfied thus far. Some people might find the beginning to be a bit tedious because they are building the tale, but by the time you reach the conclusion of the third episode, you will be eager to find out what comes next. The visuals are amazing, and it has a much more realistic and gritty atmosphere than the other Star Wars series. In comparison to the previous shows we’ve seen up to this point, it has a far more mature tone. However, the finest part about this show is its cast, which is headed up by Diego Luna. This show has piqued my interest, and I cannot wait to see where it goes from here. The Star Wars films are more or less aimed at a young audience, which is lovely, but in this film, we get to witness how an empire and a rebellion might genuinely function in the real world. And as a result, we get to see a program in which not everything is black and white, but rather there are shades of grey on all sides because the people who manage these groups have their own agendas.
